"The A-List: Steven Rattner - Facebook IPO is no place for an amateur
The most closely watched initial public offering in a decade – that of social media giant Facebook – will reportedly include a dollop of shares earmarked for small investors. Facebook is an extraordinary company and its shares could easily march upward but its IPO is a timely reminder that amateurs (or even money managers like mutual funds) shouldn’t be picking stocks."
